Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge is the second Castlevania game to be released for the Game Boy.

[edit] Gameplay

There are four stages in the game to play, and they can be played in any order. These are four of Dracula's themed castles, which are air, plant, earth and crystal. Through each stage there will obstacles and enemies to overcome. Christopher Belmont can wield two sub weapons, an axe and holy water. Hearts are collected by defeating monsters, and are used to buy weapons and items.

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge is a follow on from Castlevania: The Adventure, when Christopher Belmont defeated Dracula, in 1576. Dracula put a curse on the Belmont family, and went in to hiding for 15 years. Now he has come back, and kidnaps Soleiyu, Chris' son. Chris now has no choice but to fight Dracula again and save his son.
