Overview
Axe's are a sub-weapons used in many Castlevania games. The axe could go either straight forward, or thrown up, depending on the certain game. It causes pierce and blunt damage.

Usage
The axe is used in in arc. This style of use makes it a popular weapon for attacking air based creatures which can be hard to hit with other weapons. Due to the style of throwing, if it arcs down on to a large enemy it can cause more damage due to the extended amount of time in contact.
