Castlevania: Dracula X was a completely reworked version of Rondo of Blood(1993), built from the ground up for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Dracula X featured everything from new levels to new boss fights, but despite these differences the game is still commonly misconceived as a simple port of Rondo of Blood. The only major similarity between the two games is that they share the same story.
Dracula has risen again, but makes the mistake of kidnapping the girlfriend of a Belmont. Richter Belmont must slay Dracula in order to save his girlfriend and her sister, not to mention ridding the world of Dracula's evil presence.
Plays in the vein of a classic Castlevania title. There are seven levels to whip your way through, including areas where you can find hostages and set them free.
