Background

Christopher Belmont is a vampire slayer from the famous Belmont Clan, known for their efforts against Dracula. He stars from two games in the Castlevania series (being Castlevania: The Adventure and Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge), both in which he is a major character, hoping to continue in the footsteps of the Belmonts before him.

Castlevania: The Adventure

After Dracula continues to return and attempt to cloud the world in darkness, Christopher Belmont attacks at his Dark Castle in an attempt to rid the world of him once and for all.

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge

At the time of his defeat, Dracula put a curse on Christopher's family which leads to the events of this game. After fifteen years of relative peace, he returns to capture Christopher's son named Soleiyu and transforms him into a demon form. Manipulating the child, Dracula manages to restore himself to human form and reconstruct his castle. This draws Christopher back into the conflict, both to save his son and to defeat Dracula once again.
